Storm Release (毒液遁, Ranton) is an advanced nature kekkei genkai that combines lightning and water-based chakra to create energy beams that can be guided towards a destination wished by the user.

Bakura Clan is a small and mystery clan which lives in Amegakure. Although they are not naturally born with the bloodline, but they do possess the bloodline as one of the Storm Release possessor married into the clan. The descendants of the couple are known as Royal Bakura, similar to their title, they are granted with great respect and high position. It is proven when all the Clan Leaders are part of the Royal Bakura who possess Storm Release. Albeit only a portion of people are gifted with the ability but somehow they manage to survive in the dangerous world, for more than a century with the talented leaders.

• Despite the name of this nature, it does not manipulate storms; it instead manipulates beams of electricity that flow like water. The name is more symbolic, representing the names of the natures used to create this nature. In the movie, Hiruko displays a more literal version, manipulating storm clouds charged with lightning.
